Damper System

The damper system, which is emerging as an alternative to the special reinforced shear wall system, implements a seismic isolation device on the structure to absorb seismic energy and reduces the amount of energy load on the building to minimizing damage.

Easy Damper / MEED Damper

As it has a vibration control structure using the slit-type steel plate, it was designed in consideration of elastic deformation and plastic deformation. The vertical load is borne by the frame, and the horizontal load is borne by the steel damper, and the structural design is easy and the overall frame quantity is reduced.

Lintel-type Vibration Control Damper

The lintel-type vibration control damper is applied to the lintel, and continuously serves as the coupling beam between two walls. It increases the ductility capacity of structures, and the attenuation of the damper reduces the seismic load borne by the structure.

  • It is possible to easily install the vibration control damper, manufactured in the factory, in the lintel mold at the construction site.

SSF Damper

This damper absorbs the inter-laminar strain, which occurs when the seismic load is delivered to a Rahmen frame structure made of pillars and beams, using the attenuation of the friction pad or high damping rubber. It combined the joints between horizontal/vertical members or the connectors between vertical members with the friction pad or high damping rubber. It comes in various types.

  • Easy to install as the dry construction method is used.
  • As there is no interfere with the window, it is highly usable.
  • As it is applied only where necessary, the production cost is minimized.
  • Special maintenance is not necessary.

Door and window-type damper

It combines the vertical and horizontal members with the steel damper. During the elastic deformation due to the horizontal load, the resistance force continuously increases, and has stable hysteretic characteristics. So it displays stable seismic performance until just before fracture.

  • As it is designed to be bolted onto the pillar, it is easy to install.
  • As it does not interfere with the windows, it is favorable in terms of lighting and ventilation. As it maximizes space utilization, it improves usability.
  • As dampers are applied only where necessary, the manufacturing cost is minimized.
  • Special maintenance is not necessary. In case of plastic deformation and destruction, it is easy to remove and replace dampers.
